有時候把z-index屬性放在相鄰的元素包裝上是明智的。 z-index工作所需的唯一東西是元素應該相對，絕對或通過position屬性固定。

例如HTML：

<div class="main_content">

CSS：

    position: relative; //fixed, or absolute, otherwise z-index doesn't work

    z-index: 30; // setting it lower than the previous block
