在CodeIgniter的Fullcalendar中添加事件

我剛剛使用CodeIgniter實現了Adam Shaw的流行日曆，名爲'fullcalendar'（http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/）。但是我需要從我的數據庫中添加事件和其他操作。我從這裏找到了一個CakePHP插件，用途相同，http://bakery.cakephp.org/articles/view/events-plugin。

由於我沒有與CakePHP保持聯繫，任何人都可以在CodeIgniter上幫助解決這個問題..？
