學說和Symfony2不能合併新的實體EntityManager＃merge（）

我反序列化XML提要的實體。該實體已經有一個ID（從XML中讀取）。學說和Symfony2不能合併新的實體EntityManager＃merge（）

我想在持久化和刷新它（保存到數據庫）之前合併實體。我需要合併實體，因爲它可能已經存在於數據庫中，如果需要，我需要它來更新而不是驗證失敗。
